Susan - still scheduled for plastics tomorrow?

Amy, you're so very sweet to remember this Actually, I've canceled my surgery again because of some health problems I've been having.  I'm feeling better, but haven't gotten to the root of the problem yet, but I will be rescheduling soon since my niece is getting married on the 4th of July and I MUST look good when I go home to San Diego!!! All of this is the reason I haven't been around much, but I feel like a human again, so be warned that I'm back Thanks for thinking of me, Hugs

Oh my gosh Susan, were you really up at 4:48 a.m. posting?  Iam glad you are feeling better and are posting again.  I dont post much yet, I still feel like a lurker, but I do visit this site often and you guys are helping more than you know, I especially like the what'cha eating threads.   Keep up the good work and I'll try to chime in a little more often Mary

Mary, I think the time on the header is pacific time...two hours earlier than us. It wouldn't be that unusual for me to be up at 4:30 our time though, "old dog" get us up regularly to go outside. Glad to see you here, we need to keep this board moving!

Hi Susan!! I agree that it was a good idea to reschedule your surgery. You probably don't need to go into a procedure like this without knowing what is wrong with you to start with. Surely you will find out and be able to correct the problem in plenty of time to have your plastics before your niece's wedding. I bet you are excited about going back to San Diego and seeing everyone!

Also, I must have missed it but what kind of surgery are you having done? I'm curious because just like you, I'm sure there are a lot of us out here who will be considering the whole plastic surgery angle. I like to learn as much as I can up front so I don't go into anything blind. Who are you using for your surgery and what si the round about total cost? Will insurance pay for anything? Take care of yourself!!   Karen

Hi Karen, For right now I'm starting at the top and working down   LOL   I'm having my upper/lower eyes done, brow lift first, then my breasts lifted. That comes to about $6500, and I still might decide to have my lower face lifted as well.  I want to do my face first since I work in an industry where looking good counts. Next I'll do my breast lift, then if I have any $$ left, I might do an abdominoplasty  later on. I was going to do the whole face plus by breast lift, but that's 5 hours of surgery so I decided to break it up into three separate surgeries.  Not much difference in price, just recovery time.

Look at you....8.5 from goal!!!  Bet that most of that is skin that you'll lose when you have your LBL.

Yep and quite honestly that is my doctors goal, mine was 170 all along! so i am a happy camper.  And yes Dr. Vanderpool said I have about 8lbs of skin from what he can tell, but wont know of course until he cuts it all off and weighs  it.   I know a lot of people get into their 140s before plastics but I knew I would never be like that, so if I even get to 150 with plastics and maintain that is so much BETTER than 322 ever was, and thank you for being here, I really am blessed to have you guys in my life!
