Mandy, First of all WELCOME!!!! This board is slow most of the time but it still is a good place to come be with other military families. Congratulations on your WLS!! I am alittle over 11 months out and I feel great! This has been the best decision that I have ever made. Your husband will be so shocked at how you look the next time he sees you. Just remember though to do everything your doctor tells you and you will do just fine.
If I can help you in any way just let me know.
Good luck and Welcome aboard!!

What part of Germany are you in. When I was 15 I stayed in Asfenburg ( Iknow I spelled that wrong) with my sister and her husband. I remember how beautiful it was. Well I wish you and your kids well I know it is hard to be away from your husband. Good luck and God Bless.

Topic: Prayer for Those in Military Service
God of compassion,
we pray for military personnel,
offered for the sake of others,
and separated from family and loved ones.
Care for them; meet their needs.
Grant them courage, compassion, strength,
and all they need for the living of these days.
Sustain them through their every trial.
Remind them of the humanity they share
even with those who are called "the enemy;"
through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
Hugs from Germany
