Jen, Hello!! I am sorry that I can't give you info for Ft. Carson right now. We lived there about 10 years ago for a year. It is a beautiful place!!! I wouldn't worry about your slow loss so far, we all lose at our own pace. I am slow losing as well, my surgery was on Jan. 25, 2005, but I am just happy that weight is coming off. jamie, hi!! boring....what an understatement!! lmao!! we all hate it here!!! my husband has been in the army over 18 years!! i think that makes it harder on me, i am expected to know all these things, but heck i am brand new to this!!!! i am just now workin on gettin my surgery. i have had the sleep test & the psych eval. waitng on the lung specialist..... i never thought anything like this would be available to me! i was actually scared to ask my dr. bout it!!!! lol! i agree about the no matter what size we are....the lady who did my psych eval asked bout my self-esteeem, i said great, i am me no matter what i look like or whatever size i may be!!! my fav quote is ..... there is a skinny woman inside of me....but i can usually shut the %^&** up with cookies!!!!! lol!!! thanks for posting!! take care!! bon
