I love working out at the gyms on post here at Ft. Campbell, KY. The key to "privacy" is to go when the troops are less likely to be there. Here they tend to use the gyms from 0500-0900 and then at lunch 1100-1300 and then they trinkle in at various times after 1800 hrs. If anyone out there is really nervous about trying them out go to one of the gyms and find out which one is used the least (has the least traffic) and at what hours... or try going to the gym that is assigned to your unit. My hubby's unit has their own private gym on their compound so I can work out there 24 hours a day. HTH! Have a magickal day~ Jamie

Just curious of anybody goes to the gyms on the post you're at? I went for the first time yesterday and could kick myself for not starting earlier! Maybe we just timed it right.....but it wasn't crowded and I didn't feel weird or odd working out with a bunch of buff army guys working out around me. That was my fear about going before, that it would be all these buff guys looking down on the fat lady invading their space~but it didn't happen. Nobody even seemed to care or notice that we were there. ~Tanja

Hello Tanja, I had my surgery at the Dallas Veterans Hospital. They did a great job with the surgery, though the follow up process needs some work. I understand that the bariatric surgery is a new one (less than six months old) for the hospital...I wonder if it is new state wide for military hospitals in general. Good luck to you! Kym

I'm having my surgery at Madigan at the end of the month. I've had one previous surgical experience with the hospital, the c-section of my daughter. They took really good care of me and it was a better hospital then the civilian one I had my 2 other children in. Anybody else have surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center?

Creating your own post - how to use emoticons

Emoticons associated with your post's title

One emoticon may be associated with your post's title. To select an emoticon image to go with your post title, click the down-arrow marked Title Images to the left of the area where you will type your post. A menu of images should appear; click on one to make it the title image of your post. The image you have selected will appear outlined in red in the Title Images menu.

Emoticons inserted into your post

As many emoticons as you like may be inserted into the body of your post. To view the available emoticons which you may insert, click the down-arrow marked Message Emoticons to the left of the area where you type your post.
