Dr Goel is suppose to be excellent. But apparently there have been recent issues w/ Medical Visas to India. My friend and I researched and are cxling India and doing Mexico instead. Bariatric Mexico in TJ

Hi,

I think you have same problem of finding best hospitals and doctors in Delhi as my cousin sister had gone through with bariatric surgery in India at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. the whole treatment process had gone very smoothly as they were very supportive and friendly. The organization who helped us in this journey is Medical India Treatment, you can send them an inquiry at medicalindiatreatment.com to know the costs at different hospitals free of cost. people are so helpful, they took care of all the needs. when it come to trusting them, they are already certified in medical tourism from government of india. hope this helps :)

There are some very fine hospitals in BKK. I would look at Bumrungrad, Bangkok Nursing Home and Samitivej Sukhumvit. I had surgery at Sam (not bariatric) and it was great. The Thai nurses are not only nice, they are sweet. Sam is my hospital of choice. My wife had a procedure done at Bumrungrad and everything went fine.

One warning about Thai hospitals. You probably will want to go to a private hospital. Be careful about your appointment time. If you are given an evening appointment it probably means the doctor is working days at a government hospital and part time at the private one till he can get on full time. I avoid that situation because he probably is doing general practice days and only doing specialty part time.

I am not in Thailand at present and have been unable to find out costs.

Good luck (chok dee)
