Hi Meg , I had open rny on the 13th of april 2006 , so Im still recovering from the surgery and only able to have puree foods at this stage , to date ive lost around 16kgs .
the lap band wasnt an option for me becaiuse of previous vbg surgery which would have caused the band to erode into my stomach wall .

I have had a RNY in april and have been looking for a support group. I live in Sydney and would love to get together with you and chat. Perhaps we could start our own group i would just love that. email me if you are interested and i would love to answer any questions that i can for you
