Hi All, my 9 yr old son Lee Jay has Asperger's he was diagnosed three years ago.and is also ADHD lol ......so there is never a dull moment in my house lol ,he is my world ,i don't know if I could handle a "normal child" lol..............Sherry.....

Hi Sherry!!! Welcome!!!! I got a laugh out of that you said! In my house what is normal I ask!!! How is your son doing in school??? I have a son that will be 5 years old in April. I think he has aspergers, I did have an eval on him. They are not sure yet if he is. I have a nephew that was just dx with aspergers at age 11. He was org dx with ADHD, OCD, ODD, Then they changed it to aspergers. Take care, and Im so glad you posted here!!! Hugs Kristin

I know what you mean my son is 4 and my daughter 2 it is like having twins in the terrible 2s....but I don't think I would want it any other way. I wish so much for my son, but he is so cute funny sweet evil all at once. he is a mimic. He loves tv and movies and he acts out the shows as they play the whole way from dancing to jumping to word for word. It is soo much fun. I do get heartbroken because he wants to play with kids but they just don't even try. I know he just goes off and plays by himself but I always just want to cry. He can talk but he can't ingage in speech like when I pick him up from school he can't tell me how it was or what he did. he just repets what I say. but is soo great to have a place where I can talk to others who are going through a child with autism/pdd and weight. it is a pleasure to talk to everone on this post.
