Why I like Kyle Petty

There is absolutely no pressure when you are a Kyle Petty fan! You never have to worry that he will win. But mostly because he is THE classiest person in all of motorsports. He founded the Victory Junction Gang camps to help sick children. That makes him a big winner in my book. GO KYLE GO!

Kyle is definitely a winner. I had the opportunity this last trip to Charlotte to meet him at 'signing' at Bass Pro and have my picture taken with him. That will go into my 'memory' book for sure (along with the picture with King Richard last October at the Walk for Victory Junction at LMS). We hoped to get a tour of the camp this trip, but they had discontinued the daily tours and the day we we were there they were closed to get ready for the first birthday party, but the woman at the visitors reception made a point of telling me to call when I got home and they would schedule us for a tour when we come back in October. The Victory Junction Camp has become my #1 charitable donation because of the admiration I have for Kyle and Patty Petty and everything they have done with getting the camp going.

Kyle and all of the Petty's are just a class act. I really admire his strength to continue on after the loss of Adam. I remember his first race at Daytona at the time I was a huge Richard Petty fan. I still have a t-shirt of Richard and Kyle, only wish I had bought one at TMS when Adam drove his first race.

If for no other reason, his charity work creating from the ground up, the victory gang junction camp is phenomenal! What a humanitarian! From what I've heard, he comes by that honestly, too! His dad was a true blue person, too!

Kyle is the best. He is one of the few who doenst sit around and whine about who wrecked who. I wish they would cover him more...but they dont. And youre right. NO PRESSURE! hehehe. I get razzed so much about liking Jeffie....but no one does about Kyle. I had a chance to meet Kyle last week. He was on a fundraiser ride across the US. He was stopping in Spirit Lake Iowa at Victory Motorcycles....We had it all set up to go. But then my car broke down....and then set it up with a friend of mine to go. And one of her relatives died and the funeral was that day. So, I guess it wasnt meant to be. Kyle is a class act. Better than most! Billie Jo
