Topic: RE: Who is your favorite driver?
Jr is the man !!! Now that he has Tony Eury Jr back as crew-chief we are going to see a championship.
I've been a Jr and Sr fan since I started watching and being a Nascar fan, but I've adapted to several others now.
1. JR # 8 Rocks !!
2. Jamie McMurray
3. Jerry Nadeau (Former racer)
4. Tony Stewart
5. Michael Waltrip if he would've stayed down to earth he would've remained at DEI I'm sure.
6. Bobby Labonte
That's enough for now. I'm sure it'll grow over time as well.

I love him too, but I am married and you have a BF, so we should love him from afar ...but not too far....just fans and friends.
Topic: RE: Why I like Kyle Petty
Kyle is the best. He is one of the few who doenst sit around and whine about who wrecked who. I wish they would cover him more...but they dont. And youre right. NO PRESSURE! hehehe. I get razzed so much about liking Jeffie....but no one does about Kyle.
I had a chance to meet Kyle last week. He was on a fundraiser ride across the US. He was stopping in Spirit Lake Iowa at Victory Motorcycles....We had it all set up to go. But then my car broke down....and then set it up with a friend of mine to go. And one of her relatives died and the funeral was that day. So, I guess it wasnt meant to be.
Kyle is a class act. Better than most!

Malinda, it was so awesome to see Jr. win. For him to finally win another race and actually be there was the coolest thing ever. There wasn't a person in the seats that weren't on their feet at the finish of the race. Everybody just went crazy when he crossed the finish line. Then we went to his merchandise trailer after the race to try and get our babysitter something and boy was that a mistake! There were so many people in line you could barely see the trailer.....LOL

That sounds like alot of fun, Maureen! We live in the Chicagoland area and purchased the Trackpass for 30 years when they first opened the track. We went for practice and qualifying yesterday. It was awesome! Got to see Tony Stewart hit the wall pretty good. They had to take him to a local hospital. I guess he hurt his shoulder. I hope he gets to race on Sunday. This will be the last time I get to see my favorite Rusty Wallace race.
The SPEED channel was broadcasting live from the track yesterday, that was so cool to see. Maybe I will hold up a sign that says "Hi all my friends from Obesityhelp.com", so everyone can see me on TV. LOL

Mellisia .... have a super time ... we did the 2 weekends at LMS for the All Star race and the 600, then on to Dover .. I'm done with races now until we go back to LMS in October .. unless I can convince the hubby that we NEED to go back to Dover in September ... LOL ..
Enjoy it !!!
Topic: RE: NBC Or Fox Broadcasters
For the rest of the season the sound is off on our TV and we are listening to MRN or PRN off the XM satellite. The final straw was dumping Alan Bestwick from the booth ... at least Alan had some semblance of a clue when Benny was screwing up names and cars and .. and .. and ..
I think both Fox and NBC leave a lot to be desired in coverage, but given a choice between the two .. I pick FOX !!!
