Driving...

I am driving again! After about two years, I find that I can fit easily behind the steering wheel and can finally drive again. I even drove myself to Walmart, unloaded my scooter myself (another first in a loooong time), shopped, reloaded the scooter and drove home, all by my lonesome. That us the first time I have gone anywhere alone in sooooo long. (Twelve more days until surgery!!!!!)

Hooray! I totally know how you feel, and I can't wait until I can drive myself again. I hate having to rely on paratransit because I can't manage my walker, my big wheelchair, and my oxygen! 12 more days? Woohoo! Kix pre-op 530/455
