I did a 4 mile walk last night on the canal road...my blister wasn't too irritated, given how heavily bandaged it is. Today, I have a giant list of household chores to get done, and then and only then will allow myself to go for another big walk...Sometimes, the housework has to take priority. I haven't really figured out how to get in all the exercise without always making it the first priority. What did you do to move your body today? Lori 384/242/168

Hi, I know it takes a lot of priority changing to accomplish everything I need to do. I dont work and still have trouble rearranging my schedule. I cant even imagine working a job and everything else. You are doing great, walking with a blister I dont think I can do that one. good luck. And remember you are number one priority. Well I walked around two miles while going to garage sales in the misty ran this moning. And I know I am going to do some more pilates this evening. I opened my dvd last night and went threw the practices of showing you how to do it. But I didnt go into the routine part. And I think I am going to like Lesle Sansone she shows how to do the exercise and takes her time. I like that. I did some last night. And I am having my son put the dvd player in my bedroom where I have some privacy. well I will talk more later. love marie

Good for you Marie...I like Leslie Sansone, she seems like a real person! I do really struggle with prioritizing things to get everything done that I need to. I work full time, then I have my radio show every other Sunday for 4 hours. I'm involved with so many things...but, I love my life. It is so much better than it used to be, I certainly can't complain. And not just because of WLS...also because I am so much more mentally healthier than I used to be. I have no troubled men in my life dragging me down anymore. Hugs, Lori

I did 3/4 mile on the armbike, and went for an extremely short walk with the neighbors' dog (I'm dogsitting while they are on vacation). It wasn't much of a walk for the dog, but I'm pretty tired! Kix 530/447

Kix, Before I had WLS, extremely short walks was all I could do (and then not without pain). Now I can walk 5 miles...I still can't believe it, even though I can do it! I am so happy for you and your future freedom that is coming!!!! Big Hugs! Lori

My exercise list included house chores as an option. Today once again I push mowed for 30 minutes. We have a couple acres that have not been mowed since last year, so it is quite a work out. I hope I will have the energy to do my sports band and stretches. If not, at least I got my cario in. SHellie
