Sandra, If Boyce is serious about your "helping him to become thin" that will also be great for you...then you will have an exercise buddy!!! Good for you! Don't you just love buying clothes now? Lori

Did my mile on the armbike, and threw the tennis ball several times until I wore out my guest dog. She's asleep on the back porch. Kix

Great! How long does it take to do 3 or 3.5 miles on the gazelle?

Hi Lori, Well it takes me about 35 minutes for three miles. I used to do 2 miles in that time. The funny thing is my hubby wanted it so bad for his birthday and he never gets on it. Diana

I can finally add something to this thread. I've been dying to post something here but haven't been able to. I am starting my membership here on post tonight. Officially I'm not supposed to be working out so for a while it will just be bicycling and treadmill. I can't wait I'm planning at least 20 mins of treadmill and possibly 10 or so mins of bicycling. I don't want to overdo it my first time since surgery. Jamie

Jamie, Yes, ease into it. I didn't really get rolling with the exercise until I was about 10 weeks out. Then I started with short walks. One year from now you will be burning up the pavement like me!!!! Welcome to the thread! Lori

I did 15 minuets on the treadmill today. It is still raining here. Seems like winter again. It has been raining for about a week or better everyday. Thank god we bought the treadmill so I could get my walking in. And I did the Walk away the Pounds with leslie Sesmone(?). I did the whole half hour. And before I did tthat I did the pilates. Tomorrow I plan on doing them again. I really like her. thank you so much for telling me about her. love marie
