Hi, hope everyone is having a nice day. I dont have much planned today, another day of icky cloudy raining weather. Seems as if it has raineed everday for two weeks. A cold icky drizziling rain too. Anyway, I have to go over and work on my friends computer today. I dont know what she done but she cant find microsoft works. I will probably have to download it for her. She is always playing with stuff then cannot figure out how to fix it. oh well we learn from our mistakes, dont we. I got some tulips for mothers day does anyone know when I should transplant them? I thought you did tulips in the fall. They are pretty. I was wondering when the blooms fell off if I could just trim the green part and put them in the basement until next year, as leave them in the same pot instead of putting them outside and then next year bringing them out about spring. Well I hope everone has a nice day. love marie

Enjoy your rest. The world comes around in it own time. You have to take care of yourself. At least you will get to work on the coasters. I called an flower shop and they said to let the plants die and then take them out of the dirt and put them in a dark sack and put in a dark place until fall then plant them in the fall. So unless someone has any other suggestions I guess that is what I will do

Good morning to everyone., I know how you feel Marie. I bought some clearanced roses at lowes over the weekend and I now have to learn about them. I lived in one house for seventeen years and sold it and moved to this one ten years ago and have never ever bought roses lol. So new to me now. I do know they can tolerate heat and full sun so they better be good at it. Gets very hot down here for sure.... Hugs Marge

Yep, I have heard it gets very hot in Georgia. I have never been there so I dont know. I would love to see Georgia I have heard it is a very beautiful state. Enjoy it. You could be here in Illinois where there is nothing but corn fields. I trimmed one of my rose bushes the other day. because of the cold spring so far this year it didnt bloom well and had a tree growing in the middle of it that I have needed to get cut out. so Bob cut the tree out the other day so I went ahead and trimmed it. I know you are suppose to trim them in the fall so I hope it doesnt hurt it. love marie.

Good Morning Marie and all my Smo and former Smo family! It's bright and sunny here in Hawaii and looks like another warm day. It was pretty hot this past weekend NO tradewinds at all! I didn't even sweat the way I thought I would. I've been sweating since we landed here back in 04 and didn't think I'd ever stop..drop a few pounds and I can handle the heat much better...Thank Goodness. Of course the heat here is nothing like the heat you guys have in Ga Marge I know those summers can make a person wilt. I remember Ga around July/August and it's a time for Air Conditioning!! Sorry I can't ya on the Tulips either Marie I've planted lots of things but haven't tried those yet. I did glads but I did those in early spring they were bulbs though. Try calling Home Depot I love that store/they might give you some suggestions. HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY!!! Jamie

Well at least some one is getting warm nice weather. It has been cold and raining here for over a week. I planted some glads a few years back. I thought they had to be replanted every year, but mine have come up every year for about five years. And they have multiplied. I have been looking for a trussel to put up around behind them as Glads get top heavy. But havent took the time to do it. Every year I just end up proping them up with some sticks. Maybe this year I will get it rignt. love marie

Dragging in here at 7:30 pm but I'm here, Rie! Wish I could help with the Tulip question, but I'm ignorant on flowers. I'm trying to get better at it this year, but usually I just kill them. Just not my talent! Myra
