HAIRY SITUATION!
Hello all smo family,
I have had issues here lately and don't seem to have a cure for it. I have always had enough hair to put on three or four peoples heads. There is indian somewhere down the line in my family and hair was never an issue. Well here lately..... I have had hand fulls coming out. I condition it, eat protein, even have kicked the protein up a knock ( as emeril says ) and no go there.. I still can't see my scalp so that is good but how much longer will it last? I mean I have never been a vanity type of person that cares if there hair is not just right but man. The montel look aint gonna be all that pretty on me. .Lol... I know it is a side effect from the surgery and can live with that but really wonder how much more I will lose before it gets a grip and goes to on to someone elses head. (im talking like its termites).I still have the "dora the explorer" hair so don't think im running out to soon but any ideas or maybe can just tell me something to make me feel I aint the only one? Lol
And another beef!! What's up with the legs and arms? The hair seems to like hanging there but not on the head.. What gives?
Hairless hugs from Marge
Hi Margaret. I too started losing my hairabout 3 months post op. Luckily, I have plenty of thick hair. They say it is normal for your hair to fall out after gastric bypass surgery. Some say Biotin helps. You can buy it at Walmart. They also say it will grow back. If not, we can go together and buy us wigs.
