AT A STAND STILL

Current news -- I am looking into other options for myself. The surgeons office told me they were going to compose a letter of medical necessity for me to sign and send on to my benefits coordinator and ect... And it still has not arrived. Option two borrow against my retirement fund--- option three get married, since my boyfriend's bcbs-federal plan covers WLS. Not what I envisioned my wedding day to be. I had hopes of being a beautiful bride some day and waddling down the isle doesn't appeal to me at all. How messed up is that? In other news, I am taking a yoga class and believe it or not it isn't as wimpy as you'd think. In one pose I yelped in class due to stretching muscles that have laid dormant in my tummy. Oh boy! The teacher said that I was doing it right then, since I felt it. Benefit to yoga: I was working in the yard Thursday and having an especially klutzy day falling twice on my hind end. I have a pretty purple bruise and abrasion to my elbow but I am not sore at all! Pretty cool in my book. Last year I fell on my patio and ended up miserable, taking pain meds and muscle relaxers for awhile till things went back to normal. Small victories but they are mine. Lol

(((HUGS)))..I dont know why getting this surgery approved has to be so difficult. I finally had to self pay for mine. Considering it saved my life, it has been well worth it. I hope everything comes together for you. Hugs, Lori
