HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION?????

Hi everybody!!! Hope everybody is well. I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if our pouch stretchs easily or is it hard. I had open RNY and the dr made my pouch 2cc. So I was just wondering what all my smo buddies thought or know. Thanks nanette 361/243/???

Nanette, I do not really know the answer to this question. My surgeon tells me that she usually sees the anastomosis (where the intestine meets the new stomach) opening get larger rather than the pouch. I suspect that has happened to me as food seems to pass right through. I've really trained myself to chew stuff to death though. Carbonated beverages is what my surgeon says is the most likely culprit. Lori
