Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
Today was medical visits day, none of which were at the same clinic, so I spent the day traveling from one clinic to another, all for routine things. I felt really fat today, so I thought I had gained weight, only to find out I'm down 6 lbs! This means I only have 7 more lbs to lose to have a 100 lbs weight loss.
No armbike today. I left the wheelchair at home and walked at each of my appointments, so I feel like I had a big workout today. I'm not too tired now, but I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow!
My final pre-surgery class is tonight, yay!

Hey Lori I have a question. Yesterday I was having some pain in my stomach. It was sharp at times and when I sneezed I thought I'd die. I tried so hard not to sneeze or cough yesterday. My husband says he thinks I'm doing too much and to take it easy. I didn't go to the gym last night but want to go tonight. I haven't had much pain today and I'm wondering if maybe I just overdid it yesterday. I was going to call the doc this morning but since it subsided I figured I'd wait.
It wasn't a constant pain just if I moved a certain way or bent over, I just didn't know what would set it off. Is it normal to feel some pain, is it the pouch healing? Should I go ahead and go in even if I think it's nothing? Should I stop working out?
I hate to go in and find out it's gas or something like that but then again I'd hate to sit by and have something serious going on. I tend to think it's not that serious considering I'm not doubled over in agony.
I'm really stuck in the middle with calling or not calling, working out or not working out.
Thanks in advance for any advice..I'm going to post this in a new thread too and see what everyone thinks.
Hi Lori,
NO thank goodness. My street was flooded when I left for work
and also flooded when I came home from work. My neighbors
were outside and upset. My neighbor next door took pictures.
They keep building homes and have not improved the drainage.
All the water finally went down about 9:00pm. As people try and
drive on our street the water goes higher up our yards. I drive
a big tall 4x4 suburban and hubby drives a truck so we were able
to drive in it. I would have never tried if I was in a car.
Thanks for asking.
(((hugs)))
