Thank you all so much for your great words of encouragment. I tried many years to be friends with this person but to tell you the truth she is one misrable person and has nothing better to do then low rate others. She always used to try to get me to go out to eat with her all the time up until I put my foot down and said no more. Annie

(((((((Annie))))))) I'm glad I could say a little something to help you realize that you are not alone. Sometimes, even well meaning friends and family can be the most ignorant about the whole RNY issue. I guess I have been lucky because my son had the RYN almost 2 years before me. My family and friends could see that the surgery actually does work because they can see my son and his progress. I have kinda gone under the radar so to speak. I was just thinking about this today...We have two sons..One inherited my hubby's genes..and my oldest son unfortunately inherited my genes. We are both trying to correct our lousy genes the best we can..and hope to succeed! Have a great day Annie! HugsGinger
