I am a very picky eater. I am dreading the protien shakes and bars that I will have to consume after surgery. However I am on a pre-op diet now and my family loves home made icecream. I cant have it the traditional way so I decided to make my own with fat free products. You have to have a electri****cream maker and they can be bought at wal-mart. Great investment! If I get any responce to the post asking for the recipe I will be glad to write it all down here. It is absolutely awesome!!!! Misty

Hi ok guys its very simple actually. First of all you need a gallon electri****cream maker. You can get them smaller but would need to cut the ingredience in 1/2. --in a bowl mix either 6 egg whites or 6 servings of egg beaters. ---2 cups of equal or splenda ( I hate splenda) ----2-3 table spoons of vanilla extract depending on how strong you like yours. I usually just squirt some in and its about 3-4 table spoons. ----1 can of fat free evaporated milk mix all that together with a mixer for about 1 minute or until its all blended well. Pour the mix into the icecream container and then pour 1/2 gallon of fat free milk in with the mix. Put the lid on and follow the directions of the elecrti****cream maker. I have also made it by the same directions above but put 4 whole eggs in and added a box of frozen strawberries. It then had more calories and 16 fat grams for the whole gallon but it was thicker and I love strawberry icecream. You could add any fruits to the fat free kids as well. I add my fruits to the mix and blend it well. Either way its absolutely delicious! Misty

It is really great! My kids love it as well. It doesnt hurt for the kids to eat healither and cut out some fat. I made the strawberry kind and froze it in smaller containers and when I need something sweet thats what I eat. It will last forever. Have a great day misty
