Anyone hear from Myra?
Hi Julie (and everyone) and thank you!! Prayer does have power, and I thank all of you for that! Yay!
Had the angiogram yesterday ... and that was a trip
. The cardio told me my heart is "fine for my age" (whatever he means by that ... I was pretty groggy and didn't ask anything further) and then he told my daughter there were NO blockages and the same "fine for age" thing. So now everything is back in my BS' hands to see if feeling so bad is gastrically caused. He's mentioned another endoscopy to see if the ulcer is back (oh yay, that would be #4 endo in the last 7 months
) so I'll wait to see what he has to say after he gets the angio report and then we'll go from there. In meantime, still not feeling at up to punk, so that's why I've been sort of scarce around here. I haven't been exercising like I was before I started feeling so ill and that has caused my back problem to crank up a few more decibels ... it's hard to sit at the computer much lately. I have tried to at least look in here once a day to see what's going on with everyone, and I've missed all of you alot.
Thanks again for thinking about me and your prayers ... ((hugs)),
and
to all,
Myra G
PS. For both pre-ops and post-ops: One side-affect of feeling so bad has been that it's extremely hard to concentrate on a WLS program ... in feeling so fatigued and nauseated and blood sugar getting low so often, I've been almost existing on fat-free saltines and fat-free peanut butter, and I gained from 239 lbs to 245 lbs! Talk about a depressing feeling ... feeling like crap and now I'm gaining weight?!? So in the last few days I've really *made* myself concentrate better, eating more appropriately no matter how I've felt and pushed pushed pushed water through my system. Back down to 240 this morning. For me, that was a good lesson learned on how easily and quickly all our hard won progress can be undone!

Myra,
Wow, what a relief! I hope you start feeling better soon. I hope you do not have another ulcer. That is the pits.
That's so frustrating that you can gain on FF saltines and ff Peanut butter. I'm glad to hear that you can stay on top of it and lose it. I wonder if it was jus****er weight from the sodium in the saltines?
Thanks for letting us know.
Julie
