Happy midweek, everyone! We are expecting record breaking heat in CO today. I think there must have been a shift in the contenental drift one night and CO slid down next to Arizona. Scorching heat, ugh! I feel like I'm living in the place you usually see these I did my mile on the armbike today. I am not going outside to do any short walks today, but I will do leg exercises indoors. What did you do to move your body today (and are you making sure to stay cool and hydrated)? Kix

Hi Kix! Thanks so much for keeping the gym open! I'm back from my very soggy vacation in Vermont. I had tons of fun. But, the rain and cold was relentless. I did exercise everyday, except for 3 out of 8, but, still managed to gain 3 lbs!!! Arrrgh! I was back at the gym this morning though...I'm gonna get back on track. Here is what I did: Med Ball Over Head Side Bends Med Ball Woodchop Squats Floor Crunch Feet Up Floor Crunch Knees In Floor Kickout on Elbows Elbow Raise Over S Ball Reverse Curl With Dowel Band Lateral Raise Band Front Raise Tricep Kickback on S Ball Superman on S Ball Front bend, back extension Reverse Grip Lat. Pull down One Leg, Leg Press (each leg) Band Side Walk Leg and Hip stretches For cardio I did 30 minutes on the treadmill. Will try and take a walk tonight... Lori

Kix, In about an hour I am going to Curves, and last night I walked 7 blocks! That is great, because I have not been able to walk that far in months. Yay me! Julie in WA

Hi Kix, I walked three miles around my neighborhood. ~ one mile with my neighbor and two miles with my hubby. Yeah!!! He wants me to make him walk with me. He's gained some weight. I used to weigh a lot more than him. He lost 60 pounds when I first had my surgery and he's gained almost all of it back. Take care, Diana 379/173/?

I guess I'm always the last one to post because I don't go to the gym until 6pm my time. Okay here goes: 30 mins on bike doing hill program 15 mins Elliptical machine 15 mins on another bike lifted some weights..mostly legs because I'm really not supposed to yet. HAVE A GREAT WORKOUT TOMORROW Jamie
