congrats on these wonderful WOWs, ginger! i know exactly what you're talking about! being able to sit in booths is such a liberating feeling, don't you think? and shopping...phew...i still can't adjust to the sizes. i had to go to a whole different part of a store the other day when i finally realized that size 16s are too BIG for me! i was in the regular sizes part of the store trying on 14s...and they fit! i never felt like i should even walk thru the regular sizes part of the store...i didn't belong there! i'm having kind of a weird day here at work...we can wear jeans on fridays...and i have a rather tight pair on. i think at least a dozen different people have stopped me in the halls today and told me how wonderful i look! i still tend to gravitate to loose, baggy clothes (hard habits to break after so many years). friends keep telling me tighter clothes look fine on me -- better actually, they say, cause they make my new shape more evident. maybe they are right! it's just so hard to get away from the habits of a lifetime. again, congrats to you! deb

Wow Deb, Did you ever in your wildest dreams imagine wearing a size 14 pair of jeans???? I know that wearing the baggie clothes kinda protects us in a world that has always been so judgemental. I like to keep some of my old clothes...It feels good to see how baggie they are..but at the same time..it's kinda sad to think that I used to squeese into those clothes, and never thought things could get better for me. I think it also keeps you in check so you don't go down that path again. We all know that you have to be in check constantly with this surgery. Have a great day Deb!! Hugs

I love when good things happen to good people!!! Sounds like you are living life to the fullest. Thanks for sharing.. and be assured.. this place would never be the same without you!! With everyone getting so skinny we may have to pass out name tags pretty soon...
