Lori must be worn out from trying to catch up after her hectic vacation, so I'll go ahead and open the gym today. BTW, Lori, thanks for sending the cooler weather, it feels great! I did 1.1 miles on the armbike and a short walk outside before the rains came and gave everything a much needed soaking. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Hi Kix aka High Kicks!! I walked around our neighborhood park twice around early this morning. It's too dang hot ! 112 is just unbearable down here in the Grand Canyon State. I will go again around later this evening when it cools off a bit. Not sure how far that is..hope I remember to wear my fancy digital mileage thingy this evening. Ginger

I think 112 degrees is unbearable anywhere, not just in Arizona! We were hitting the low 100s here in CO earlier this week and I was certain some UFO had plucked me out of my bed and carried me off to Arizona during the night. It has cooled off to 73 today, but it won't last. The weather person says we'll be back at 96 by Monday. I have a sister in Arizona and I don't know how she stands the heat. I guarantee you, I'd fall down dead living in such a HOT climate! Good job on getting in some walking in spite of the heat! Kix

High Kicks I am a native of Phoenix Arizona. Every year I ask myself...why...why!!! I guess it's something you get used too. I don't think I could handle the snow or a humid and hot south-eastern climate. I'm just glad my kids are older now and I don't have to put them in a scorching car-seat in a hot car. hugs, Ginger

Hi Kix, I walked outside one mile and did 2 miles on my gazelle. Mosquitoes are so bad here in Texas. Grrrrr. Take care and have a great weekend. Diana

Hey Kix did a 30 min program on the exercise bike and lifted weights at the gym tonight. It was warm here today but not scorching like you all are discussing. Thank goodness we got a little tradewind today and hopefully soon we'll get rain, we sure need some. I don't miss mosquitos though..wheww or gnats. I remember the gnats in Ga..horrible!! Jamie
