Hello Everyone, I have a question! Today I am officially out 2 months, and I've lost a total of 69 pounds...I was wondering if that is "normal". I have read stories where people have lost much more than that in a total of 2 months. Tuesday when, I went to my PCP, I was very disturbed to see that between the last time, I was weighed which was May 16th that I lost a total of 8 pounds in almost 4 weeks. That is very disturbing...because in the back of my mind, I carry the what if this surgery doesn't work for me. So I was wondering has this happened to anyone else? Thanks so much in advance to those who take the time out to answer my post! *smoochies* ~NEVER SURRENDER~ ~T

T Your doing a very good job. I had my surgery on April 7th and have lost 53 lbs so your ahead of me. I think everyone's body loses at it's own pace or so I've been told. Hang in there it will come off we just have to be patient. I know it's hard, trust me I want results Today..! I get so frustrated when I see the weight loss in all the places except my tummy..but it will come off in time. HUGS, Jamie

TT I think you are doing great!! I will be so so happy if I lose 69 pounds in 2 months!!! I'm sure it's frustrating since only 8 of it was in the last month, but I know they say that the body has been through a lot of trauma and it's probably just catching up with itself. As long as you are eating like your doctor tells you to and doing what you are supposed to, you'll be fine. I know you'll do great!! It'll start to come off more quickly again. Best wishes.

hi tt: i think you're doing splendidly. those 69 lbs are more than A POUND A DAY on the average. and they're gone for good. i remember needing to take a fresh look every so often and get a renewed perspective back then (as well as now) regarding this being a long term thing. i'm pretty sure it is your body's way of catching up with it's new reality. if you hang in there with your dr's rules and keep doing what you're doing, it will start falling off again soon. in the meantime, try to enjoy how far you've come so far. YOU'RE DOING GREAT !!! have a great week. dorthe
