Because I am utterly bored tonight, I thought I would do something kind of fun - so, here are my reasons for wanting to have this surgery SOON!!!! 1. Because I refuse to buy any new underwear until after surgery and at this point all of my underwear are falling apart. 2. Because my bra is doing the same as above and yes, I refuse to buy a new one. 3. Ok, so ALL of my clothes are falling apart and I refuse to buy new ones. (Yes, I'm a bit stubborn) 4. So that I can have an entire month off from work and still get paid for doing nothing! 5. So that when basketball season starts in November, I will be able to actually fit in my seat without having permanent scares on my hips and butt. 6. So that I can see my dastardly ex-bf and be able to show off my new body! 7. Oh, and there's that little thing of wanting to lose weight, feel better and improve my health, blah blah blah.

I am doing the same thing.. I will not buy ANYTHING new until after surgery and I can buy a smaller size. I am a teacher so I will add :So I dont have to take any time off from work. So my students will watch me shrink as the year goes by. SO I can take my daughters to the movies and not have to sit alone in the handicap seat. So I will NEVER have another birthday weighing over 400lbs (I had my 30th bday last Saturday). So I will look younger at 32 than I did at 22 (380lbs then) .... Well..I thought I would add mine - I have surgery in July I'll find out the date Friday. Shellie

Boy oh boy do I hear you about not buying new clothes and underwear! I have bought maybe 2 things in the last year because I knew eventually I'd be having surgery. I hope it happens soon, because things are getting desperate. hee hee My main reason that I want to have this ASAP is just to feel normal again. That's all I want, to feel NORMAL!!!!

I am so with you on not buying anything new. I've lost 50+ on this pre-op diet and still refuse to buy anything. I acutally pulled out my sewing machine and took up my panties. One of the ladies at church told me that I really need to take in my uniform because it's wayyy too big. I'm not buying anything until after my surgery (15 days away) and then for a few months after that. Lurnia

Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one with underwear issues Let's hope that we are never caught wearing some of the really bad pairs while in an accident!

I am so with you! My undergarments are at the swiss cheese stage and I will NOT buy any more! I can not wait to burn my fat pants. I've been wearing knit men's sleeping pants for over a year now. I'm gonna have a biiiig ol' bonfire with those 4 pair of pants as the main fuel very soon I hope. I wonder if they make sugar free marshmallows?

Boy, you must be devoted -- the Nuggets aren't worth getting hip and butt scars! Maybe they will do better this season Not sure what it is about our Colorado teams, it's like they forgot how to play their sport halfway through each game. I got tired of watching Coach Karl on the news apologizing for losing yet another game in the last quarter. Carmelo always has a look on his face that makes me think he wishes he played somewhere else. As for the underwear, well, I had to give in and buy three new pair because I went to put on a pair this morning, the waistband tore right out! They are so raggedy, you'd think they belonged to a guy! One of my goals (after I've lost a bunch more weight) is to go visit those evil mofos I worked with when I was posted to an assignment in WA state (who always treated me like I was something stuck on the bottom of their shoes just because I was very fat) and show off my hot self! Oh no, it's not the nuggets, the AF Falcons - college. I have season tickets for the games and it is an old stadium with seats made for people 5' 2" and under 140 pounds. I sooooo don't qualify for that! Carmelo drives me crazy too - he looks like a thug and tends to act like one. And boy is that true about our teams, although the Rockies are impressing me so far - I've expected them to implode like they always do, and nothing yet. I'm waiting with baited breathe Oh, there are so many people I want to 'show off my hot self' to as well - what is it with people who think that since you are overweight they can treat you like crap??? I have a few on my list, but the ex-bf is top. The funny thing is he never minded my weight, but he cheated on me and did lot of other crappy things to me, so I want to go "haa, see what you are missing now, you jerk!" Is that bad or what.
