Returned to WLS last week only to be told my pressure was dangerously high and go to my regular doctor to get some BP meds and return to the internist to control my diabetes. First off the WLS took my BP with a regular cuff on my forearm OUCH!!!! Left there went right to my doctor they took it with a thigh cuff and it wasent as bad as WLS said. Returned to internist who is putting me on a new kind of insulin BYETTA twice a day. My sugar was not that bad and BP was perfect. I thought excersise and diet helps both. Also why would the WLS not use a large cuff to begin with how correct is BP on the fore arm? Still loving weigh****chers lost 5 more pounds which makes this 30lbs. I am working with a new company doing demo's making double what I make at Target. So ive been working bunches and going to doctors other than that am feeling great. Annie

Annie, I've had this problem with blood pressure readings forever! I'm nearly at the point now that I can use a regular cuff. As soon as they start to take my reading, I say "is that an oversized cuff?" Sometimes you have to walk them through stuff. Glad to hear you are doing so well!! Lori
