Gym Is Open (Monday)

I did go swimming for an hour yesterday after my show. Today, I did not make it to the gym this morning...I have no good excuses, but, I have to do a very long walk tonight to make up for it! I've only got 1286 of my 10,000 steps required!!!! What did you do to move your body today? Lori 384/235.5/199

I don't know who cranked up the pollen count today -- I've been sneezing since I woke up this morning. It's chore day, so I should get the mopping, vacuuming, and dusting done before I do my armbike exercising. The dusting is done, the mopping is only halfway done and I'm thinking I will leave the vacuuming until tomorrow. I promised my sister a tomato pie for dinner, too, so I'm going to have to get working on that before too long. All I need now is a big burst of energy, but so far, it's not happening. I'd rather just Kix

I spent a couple hours doing some deep cleaning...scrubbing walls, sweeping, cleaning up some kitten mess (we have 3 kittens 4 weeks old) and then when outside to mow for 30 minutes and cut some limbs growing through my porch. I am planning on doing my sports band and stretches in a few minutes. 10,000 steps ! Wow that is alot. I have never found a peodomiter that worked. Keep up the great wouk everyone!!!! Shellie

Good for you Shellie! About the pedometer, if you buy one that is a good one (around $30) and get it set up properly, you shouldn't have any trouble. I do find, however, that my pedometer must be very level to work. So if my jeans are too tight and I get a bit of a roll, it won't work! Lori

I went to the gym early today (10 am) and did 30 min program on exercise bike and 10 mins on the elliptical. I also did weights. I started down the arms and chest and ended with legs and abs. Have a great day! Jamie
