Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
I woke up today feeling under the weather. I haven't exercised, nor did I go to work. It is now almost 2 pm and I feel back to normal and may now go to the gym. I do want to attend my WLS support group meeting tonight as we are having a baby shower for my surgeon who just adopted a baby from one of the former soviet republic countries. I'm very happy for her!
What did you do to move your body today?
Lori
I had to go see my endocrinologist today, so that meant lots of walking at the clinic. It didn't seem like a lot when I was doing all the walking, but now that I'm home, I'm worn out!
I did something to my lower back yesterday while doing the armbike (OW!), so I won't do armbike today. I must have twisted it in a weird direction or something. I mentioned it to the endo, and we talked about it for a bit, but he didn't seem overly concerned about it. The pain isn't bad at all, it's more of an annoyance because it only hurts when I move in certain ways.
Looks like Tylenol and Icy Hot for me today!
Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I lost 4 lbs since last week. Yay!

PS, Yes, I'll open the gym tomorrow!
I went to the outdoor pool at the Jewish Comminuty Center. I swam 26 out of the 33 lengths I usually do (this is 1/2 mile) because they cleared the pool (lightning). Last week, my Y suspended water classes so they could run a kids' program (I'm not a fan of other people's kids to begin with). So I ended up at the J pool doing laps five days. I added some water aerobics and water strength training at the end to round things out.
Tomorrow, I have water aerobics. I'll have back-to-back classes (unless one of the tornados in my area tonight blew the building over).
