Hi SMORES, I miss you guys a lot! Its great to read that everyone is doing good. You all look so mahvelous in your new pics! I'm still at 244 and am quite sure that the food choices I've been making are responsible for that. Since the weather has turned hot, I feel like I have gained about a ton. At least I'm not sweating like a little piglet this summer. Of course, i go from the air conditioned house to the air conditioned car to the air conditioned workplace. (can we say spoiled? lol) Stacy is all done with her treatments and is growing a nice crop of baby hair. (she looks so cute) So far so good with the cancer......now comes the waiting and hoping that she stays cancer free. The little store that my daughter and I run was broken into Sunday night. They didnt steal much.............just my trust in mankind. We live in a totally depressed town where the people either have a job or smoke crack. (and I used to be such a humanitarian.......go figure). Well, so goes the saga of my life(tee-hee). I hope everyone is having a good summer and keeping their spirits up. Take care and be good! willby

W-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-l-l-l-l-l-b-b-b-b-b-y!!! Yay!!! I'm so glad to see you posting. We miss you!! I'm glad to hear Stacy is done with treatments, tell her to take lots of pictures of that baby hair to remember! She's in my prayers to be cancer-free forever! I didn't know you ran a store ... did I miss that tidbit of info on you? What kind? (Shamelessly trying to keep you posting here, can you tell??? No really, I'm interested!!! ) Relating with you on a/c ... this little SE corner of Missouri is just about the only flat part in the state ... reclaimed delta land from the Mighty Mississippi River ... so you can imagine it's muggy and hot in the summertime. None of those loverly Ozark breezes on this side of the state ... I'd describe this area as the "armpit" of Missouri! and feels like one! (((((big hugs))))) Myra G

Ozark breezes? Those must be on the other side of the state (the side where they say Missurah instead of Missouri as the Lord intended it to be pronounced!) The two years I lived in St. Louis, I never experienced an Ozark breeze in the summer, just stifling Chicago-like heat and humidity, which was a bit of a culture shock for a girl coming from San Francisco!
