Gym Is Open (Monday)

I was in a big rush so I only had time to do 15 minutes on the treadmill, then I did my new strength training routine that my trainer gave me on Saturday. It is heavy on the arms and abs. I was up 1.5 lbs this morning, so I'd better take a very long walk tonight and crack down on myself...I still really want to lose 38 lbs!!!! What did you do to move your body today? Lori 384/237/199

Sounds like a great workout Sandra! Congrats on selling your stuff on eBay...I just don't have the time or patience for that. I gave away thousands of dollars worth of clothes. I've had to dress very professionally for the last 20 years, even though I weighed over 300 lbs. Lori

I did 1.25 miles on the armbike today, but I probably will not take a short walk. For some reason, I feel very, very grumpy. Must be PMS. Kix

Hi Lori, It has been awhile But I got my two mile walk in today and plan on doing my pilates tonight. Now that the wedding is over maybe I can get back into a routine. love marie

I didn't do much. I did 15 on the treadmill and my weights. I talked to my PCP today and told her that I'm really worn out and tired feeling alot lately. She said I may be burning off more than I'm consuming. I'm still not getting in even close to 800 a calories a day. I don't know how people do it. I just DO NOT want to eat. She said if I don't eat well or I feel tired do not go to the gym. I said but I have all this flabby skin and I want to work on it...no dice. I see my surgeon on July 11th and I haven't seen him since I was 2 weeks out so hopefully he'll have some advice. Have a great workiout, Jamie

Jamie, I guess you have to think of eating as taking medicine. I know this will go away. I was like this, but, now I want to eat all the time and feel I have to sit on myself. You have to get up to 1200 calories a day somehow. When you eat so little, you are permanently slowing your metabolism. You don't want that. Maybe you should just walk for your exercise until you can eat more??? Big Hugs, Lori
