Thanks for your encouragement.. MY sons are 23,13,12 ... My older son has never been embarrsed he loves me no matter what. my middle son sees the beauty in everything.. my youngest is judgemental like my mother,,,,i know he loves me but i think someone has said something in front of him... My family thinks i will changed with the weight they think im very happy but they dont know im crying inside... MY hubby is in the national guard 1st deployment.. again thanks everyone...

Rebel, We are a good bunch to talk to as we all have our own challenges and really understand what it is like to be super morbidly obese. You are a pre-op right? Well, I think you see discrimination even more after you've lost weight. Because you will then notice how much better everyone treats you! That really shows how people feel about you when you are large. I've lost 147 lbs, I weight 237, down from 384. I am treated very different by everybody. It is weird, because I still feel so big.
