Bittersweet wow moment

OMG you look wonderful!!! the Avenue is my store also and I must say, I am waiting to not be able to shop in there anymore. I'm actually looking forward to the day when I can buy a cheap outfit at Simply Fashions without going to the super plus size. TJ Maxx wow! Lurnia

Simply Fashion is a clothing store that has really reasonably priced clothing items. They carry all sizes from what I call regular sizes to super plus sizes. They're not local and you can google on simply fashions, then go to their site and put in your zip code and it will find the closes one near you. Their prices are cheap. Their clothes are not the best quality but when I shop there I'm not looking for longivity. Lurnia

Dawn, I'm SOOOOO happy for you!! Your doing fantastic!! We don't have Avenue or Lane Bryant here but back home we do and I was a regular shopper. I was ordering things off of Avenue's website and finding they were TIGHT30/32!! I couldn't even shop at Lane Bryant anymore. I still haven't had a chance to go in and try things on there and by the time we move back to the Mainland hopefully I won't be able to. I've been buying some things at Wally and really surprised at the change in sizes. The last outfit I bought was 22/24 top and 24 capris. We have Ross here so I try to go in there and pick out a few things to try on now and then. It's so funny because when I go into a store I automatically look for the women's/plus section. I don't even bother looking anywhere else. I've been doing it since high school and figured it'd always be that way. I can't even imagine walking into a "normal" size section of the store. I think a little light will shine above my head and music will start playing..!! To even walk into smaller size stores with my neighbor is VERY uncomfortable. I feel like people are thinking "what is she doing in here?" Crazy how our brains are trained. CONGRATULATIONS on your WOW moment and here's to hoping you have MANY, MANY more !! Hugs, Jamie

Thanks so much Jamie, Sorry you are so tired all the time and eating is a bother.I have been there and can relate.I does get better.It seems once you get use to the way things are after surgery they change.I am in a whine moany stage right now I am pretty sure its the hormones.Keep up the great job you are doing great....Dawn
