Ok...at 4 days post op, I know that I shouldn't really expect the WOW moments yet, but should I feel like a lead balloon. Sorry for the TMI, but I feel so heavy (heavier than before) and so bloated. Is this the norm. When does the scale start MOVIN'??? Just a bit frustrated, I guess. Anyone else experience this. On a positive note, aside from feeling bloated, I am recovering well. Not naucious or anything and not feeling hungry (except for an occasional bout of head-hunger). I feel pretty good on the whole!

It is totally normal - for the first two weeks I was sure I had gained a million pounds, when I actually lost 15 lbs! I'm still paranoid about that, thinking I've gained weight! Every night for about 2 weeks I tried on a bunch of clothes hoping to notice a differance, didn't notice one and felt crappy. Sometimes I thought I noticed a differance, and then felt like it was wishful thinking. I still feel nauseous occasionally (Nearly 4 weeks out) and I've got major problems with head hunger. It's great that you're doing well Try not to think about the weightloss - try and weigh like every 2 weeks.

Queen, Did you have the laproscopic RNY? If so, it takes about 10 days or so for all the gas to leave your body that they pump into you so they can see to do the surgery. Hang in there, it will get better! I promise! Lori
