I went in for my check-up yesterday. (7 weeks) I am down 52 lbs. since surgery. I am now 401.5 lbs. I considered stripping naked right there on the scale to see if I could bring it down to 399.9, but I resisted. I am also down from a 6X to a 4X in pants and my shirts are getting way too big. I need to see about taking them in. I am still struggling to get my water and protein in. When I talked to my doctor about that he reminded me that I have a very small pouch and said to just keep working at it. Oh, also, I have always had to use my scooter to get into my doctor's office. It is a fairly decent walk by my standards. Yesterday I went in without it. When he saw that I did not have he literally jumped with excitement, lol. And one more - my B/P is doing fine. They took me off my B/P meds after surgery that I had been on for 20 years. No problem. So... life is good.

That is awesome... Good for you. I know how great it feels to be able to get around like a normal person.. I used a cane whenever I went anywhere I was unfamilar with in case there were steps.. Not anymore.. Still have problems with my knees but I know that it is going to get better and better.. Congrats...Life is good.. Lynn

Kaycee, WOW, 52 lbs in 7 weeks, that's fantastic! That's cool about the scooter too, good for you! And congrats on the bp meds! My doc said I should be able to go off most of my BP meds right after surgery, I hope so, because they taste awful! I tried shewing them all last night, so see what it will be like after surgery. The worst is the wellbutrin though, ugh! I will not be able to quit that one, I don't think. Julie in wa
