2 month check up
Hello everyone I know its been awhile but I have to lurk quite a bit since now being monitored at work. So just know that I do think about all of you and pray for your continued success. Today was my 2 month check up I wasn't very happy with the outcome because I figure a person of my size should be losing weight at a faster pace than what is going on but I lost 14 pounds this month I know to some that is a great number but to me I was hoping for 20 or even 30 pounds. But the scale only said 14 so now I am angry and hurt but going to do something about it. What am I going to do about it I am going to workout. There is that nasty word workout. Yes I have decied that the only way I am going to see the results I want is to workout. I know that even with the exercise I would see big numbers but I will see steady number. I am thankful that I was given this gift of life and please keep me in your prayers. Oh by the way my total weight lose is 53 pounds 10 prior to surgery so I guess that is a reason to smile 100 pounds loss her I come so look out 47 pounds to go.

Lorraine,
You are doing great! The speed of weight loss, even with this surgery depends on so many things. Women lose slower then men. Women over 40 lose slower. Menopausal women really fight to lose. I've lost nearly 150 lbs now at 13.5 months out. I've been in a stall for a couple of months. I work out 6 days a week very faithfully. I'm still 69 lbs over the max I should weigh for my height, which is 5'9". I'm 45 years old, been through menopause, been through cancer, this weight just hangs on. It drives me crazy...but, I know I'm so much healthier. I have to just hang on to that and keep doing what I'm doing.
We all do.
Big Hugs,
Lori
