Getting fit has it's drawbacks.
I was out ridding my bicycle yesterday. I went too fast around a curve and clobbered the guardrail. Someone called an ambulance and the next thing I know I headed to the hospital. Even though I was in some pain I felt great-full in a lot of ways. I could fit in the catscan and it was easier to get exrays. I could fit in a regular sized wheelchair. I thought I had broken my leg but it is only bruised. I got a concussion and now have a headache. I guess I should wear my helmet. I was only about 12 miles from home and had been riding all day when some guy came along and passed me. So like a fool I cranked it up and went too fast and crashed. Two years ago I could not ride my bike let a long go too fast. I am feeling a little bit better this morning but it looks like I have to call off for midnights tonight.

John,
Leave it to a positive minded guy like you to tell your story showing how grateful you are for everything. Looks like you are looking to the "bright side"
of a scarey situation. You must be a joy to be around...you've got a lucky family! I'm glad you made it through O.K. I have a feeling you'll be back on the road in no time
...maybe not on that particular bike....but soon. I think that it is so cool when I can see how formally SMO's can turn their lives around in such a 360 way!!!
Hugs and Stitches,
Ginger
