hi everyone im home and feeling great! 3 days post op

hello sorry i forgot to have my daughter make a post to this board. i had surgery monday and it was a breeze. i had aweful pain the 1st day but by the 2nd day i was feeling normal! i have been sore towards the evenings but mornings are great. my surgery took only 1 hour! 8:10-9:10 i had lap rny. the worst of it all was the swallow test! i never want to do that again. i am tolerating all my liquids and i thank you all for prayers and support! misty

Hey Misty! I am glad you had an easy time, I did too. So much so, that I hardly believe I had surgery!!! I thought the swallow test was horrible, especaily that tilting table they put me on, OUCH! I got home on wednesday, and have been very tired. I thought it was the pain meds, so I tried to "push through" without... Bad Idea!!! I won't be trying that again! My husband and best friend seem to think I've lost weight already... I don't feel any diferent, plus my belly is still huge! I'm glad you did so well! Welcome home SurgiSister! Kate J
