When did you have to buy NEW UNDERWEAR?! LOL

I'm not the kind that waits around until it falls down to my ankle - or wears it until it digs into my skin. But I'm 5 weeks out and I'm heading out tomorrow to buy SMALLER UNDERWEAR !! lol Right now it's too big and I'm falling out of it! my legs, butt and tummy must have shrunk because they go too high up now and I'm falling out through the leg holes (I know I'm being very discriptive here LOL) So how long did you wait until you bought underwear?

LOL thats a good idea with the pictures. I felt like I could fit another butt cheek in there with me. LOL NEW UNDERWEAR IS THE BEST FEELING EVER. lmao

I think i was 7 or 8 weeks out..but don't wait as long as i did..... and be especially vigilant of pants...i lost a pair going out of a chinese take out place ..thank God I had a pair of shorts underneath!!!!!!!!!! lol scott

Hi Serena! Honestly, I waited until I was almost a year out! Seriously. I was in a size 14 Just My Size. And let me tell you. The day I finally decided, OK I need to go buy underware, was a major event. I was a nervous wreck! I went to Kohls and I was in the panty department for 2 hours. I could not believe my choices. I wanted to cry. I went by myself and was very overwhelmed. I usually would just go to Wally World and grab a bag of underware and go. Well, I ended up buying Vanity Fair size 9. Three pair for 21.00. OMG! But I love them. It was my splurge. They have stretch to them, so as I contiune to lose weight/sizes they with go down with me. I did now find at Wally World the Hanes stretch, in a 3 pack for about 6.00 just about the same kind and I love them too. So, now I will buy them because I can't afford the 21.00~~~!!! haha. Have fun picking all your lovely colors out! It is fun. ~~Carmella~~

ALMOST A YEAR OUT? How did you do it?!!?! If I waited a year out I think I'd look like I had a parachute in my pants! LOL I can imagine being nervous - I'd be like WHAT SIZE?!?!! AHHHHH!!! Congrats on the new undies! I'm glad that you have so many choices, one day I will too! Right now I just get to choose from a box of a smaller size at the plus size store - but even that is AWESOME! lol GOTTA LOVE WALL MART!!! Hi Serena, I was wearing size 14's and the first size I bought since WLS was a size 10. I had all kinds of sizes in my panty drawer. Now I'm in 8's and I like the hanes low rise. They are cheap and my rolls don't hang out of them. I can't wear high cut. That's a scary sight. Diana 379/173/?

I haven't yet. I have soooo many different sizes from past weight loss and regains. I am however VERY glad to be out of my "grannie panties"!! I think my husband is too.. I'm so glad to be wearing pretty panties again!! As I lose more weight I will be buying new ones though. My husband keeps saying no new clothes until the weight levels off but I've bought a few things to hold me over. They don't last long though...but I am certainly NOT complaining I can't wait to say GOODBYE to those plus sizes forever. Yesterday I had to ask a lady at the PX where the 18's were and she looked at me like I was asking for some unreal item. She thought for a minute and said this is our 16W and large size clothing. I kid you not the "section" consisted of 3 racks and my GRANDMOTHER wouldn't be caught dead wearing the get-up that they had. I just politely said thank you and then told my husband to please take me to Macy's. I really want to buy something there but it's sooo frickin' expensive and I'm sure not going to be wearing it that long so I might just try to stick with what I have. I say go out and buy some cute new panties AND a matching bra!!! HUGS, Jamie

lol that's great! Sometimes you have to treat yourself though! My mom bought me a few new clothes, I have jeans that wouldn't fit me like a month before surgery -they didn't seem to make them big enough, so I guess it's their biggest size, BUT THEY FIT! WOOOOHOOO! And I got my brother to take some pictures of me in my new clothes, I'll have to post them because I'm starting to look just a little bit skinny. LOL I feel JUST A LITTLE BIT skinny. Woohoo. I only lost 24 lbs and I feel amazing, so I really can't imagine me in a year - If I get a little conceited SMACK ME. lmao The funny thing is, as I'm looking at the pictures I notice that the thighs and legs and butt of my NEW jeans are kind of baggy, I lost more weight there. LOL YAY FOR US!!!!
