WOOHOO! Welcome back to the party Myra! I'm not sure if we've met, I've been on here for a couple of weeks - (bad memory LOL) My name is Serena, How D'ya do? LOL

Hi Myra, Just thought I'd chime in alittle late. Miss you too! I woke up on Thursday morn with kinda a tooth ache in my front tooth..not too bad..but it got me at least "thinking" about making that dreaded dentist appointment. The next morning I had pain going up my nose..like a sinus infection. Again, I figured if things don't get better...I'll make a doc appt. on Monday morning. Finally, Saturday... I woke up with the entire right side of my face swollen and my lips stuck out to here!(hand gestures showing) After my sons and hubby begged me..I found an urgent care center by my house. The nurse at BCBS hot-line wanted me to check into the ER. Well, the urgent care was a $20.00 co-pay and the ER was a $100.00 co-pay..but the urgent care closed at 4:00 pm and it was getting close..but we made it. Now I am on a round of antibiotics and 10 pills worth of pregnizone for the swelling so everything is starting to go down..down ..down. The pharmists warned me not to take my 2nd dose of the pregnizone too close to bedtime because it is known to keep one up when they want to sleep. I took my pill at 5:00pm and went to bed at 11:00. Could not sleep a wink! I figure I probably got 2 hours sleep at best....now I'm gonna "try" a little shut-eye before my oldest son comes over for a day of shopping and movie going! I have great timing to say the least....actually, I am still wide awake and it's 7:30 am here. Oh boy, there goes the saga of Ginger's World..welcome to it! Hey Kix!! I live about 150 miles south of St. L ... so no problems here ... but my daughter and son-in-law live there ... and missed the power outage by three blocks. Both of their works have power too. Just a lucky break for them, because some there are still waiting, and have been told it may be another week. I feel so bad for them, it's been so hot!
