quick hello and update from the road

I have been dying to get back home so I can get back with my WLS family. Things are so hard for me without the support from you all. First- Thank you to everyone who posted when my grandmother passed. Each of you have given me so much support and strength to get through everything that has happened. The funeral service was incredible. The actual service was exactly what my grandmother wanted. The service at the cemetary was beautiful. After the service the ladies from the church put on a dinner for everyone. (which was NOT bariatric friendly and I paid a huge price for trying to venture too far out!) So the actual funeral day was perfect, everything leading up to that day has been pure hell! If it could go wrong, it did go wrong! We almost had to have a service without my grandmothers body thanks to CALIFORNIA! Its been a huge hassle, extreme stress, and the word heartbreaking doesnt even being to cover the things that has gone on. Thankfully its pretty much over with now. DH and I are at my fathers house in MI for a short visit. Im heading up to the ER here in a bit. All the traveling, stress, and emotions have taken a huge toll on me. Ive been putting it off for as long as could but my father nicely told me today that either I go up and get checked out or he will call 911 and have an ambulance come get me. Ive been stubborn and trying to pull through it all but Im failing horribly. Ive dropped 21lbs in 8 days- Im beyond dehydrated and my husband told my dad that my urine is now so dark that it looks like a dar**** tea.. That did it! Dad sat me down and now Im going to get checked out... Im hoping to be home Thursday but it will depend on what happens with the ER. PLEASE PLEASE keep me in your thoughts. I really dont need anything else to go wrong this trip! I will let you know when I return! love and miss you all Amber

Amber you know my heart is with you. PLEASE take care of yourself and be careful!! I think your dad was right to take you to the ER ( I wouldn't have wanted to go either but we have to do what we have to do) Will be sending good thoughts your way and hoping you start feeling better real soon!
