Fatigue

I'm two weeks post-op today and have felt really good until yesterday, all of the sudden I felt so fatigued! Like it was an effort to do anything. With my DR's Ok I went back to work 1/2 days last week, and I'm here today but think it will be another half day for me. I'm getting in my protein and vitamins, but probably not all my water. I placed a call to my DR's office to make sure this is normal, but no call back as of yet. What do you think? Janet

Janet, There is no way I could have went back to work that fast. I took 4 weeks off and then worked 1/2 days for the next two weeks. I was so exhausted. My body really needed the sleep. Lori

I was so exhasted all the time until about 1 month post op... calories fuel our body and provide energy... so with you eating so little you are running on empty. Just try to take it slow. It gets better (((HUG)))

I went back to work after 2 weeks and I had a peroid where I was very tired and the Dr. said I was a little dehydrated and that's what was making my tired. Leeanne

Janet.. Well bless your pea pickin heart. I could of never went back to work after 2 weeks. I was still sleeping in a recliner. My fatigue took 8 weeks to get over. Increase the water..it will help..i promise.
