I'm clothed!! AND I found a good protein bar!! Double the fun!!
I went shopping today! We started at Ross and I LOADED my cart with clothes. I had SOOO many things to try on. It felt like Heaven. I ended up buying a pair of 22 capris a little loose but it was the only pair of tan I could find. I bought a cute red blouse to go with them and then I bought a pair of 16's OMG YES 16's!!!! 
I could't take them off I just stood there in the dressing room staring at myself. The smile felt like it was glued to my face. NOW they are tight and they are stretch but I got them up on my hips NO TUGGING OR PULLING and zipped and buttoned!! I bought a cute tunic shirt to go with them so it covers my belly. I really need to invest in a tummy minimizer (sp?) I'll take pics and post them on my site tonight. I tried on 22 jeans and they were TOO BIG and I tried on some 18 capris that fit nicely but they had a stain on the leg so I put them back. I took in sizes 16-22 and everything fit or was too big. I did take in one size L shirt that was too snug so I put it back. It won't be long though!! WOO HOO!! At Wally I bought a sleeveless shirt which is going to take some getting used to. I have big white arms that I don't like. I didn't find any bottoms that I liked there. I tried 18 jeans but way to snug. All in all it wasn't a bad trip. My ego got a HUGE boost at Ross!! Everything I went to put on I said I know this probably won't fit but it did. I just could not believe it.
What a miracle this surgery is!! PLEASE all you pre -oppers out there hang on your time is coming it's worth it> the hurdles> the sickness everything it's all worth it!!
I'm so excited I just had to jump on and share it with my OH family!! I knew you guys would know exactly what I was talking about!
I just can't seem to get the smile off my face. I'll let you know when I post the pics.

Jamie OOPS sorry the protein bar is Pure Protein. It's okay in flavor I wouldn't say my fav but has 1 carb, I think 1 sugar and 20 grams of protein. That's only 5 grams less than my protein shake. So now if I don't feel like drinking a shake I can have a bar. They were 1.28 a piece and the value pack was 6.64 I think. I bought 2 singles and value pack. I only saw one flavor so maybe I'll keep looking for more.

Oh Lori I was soooo happy and still am. I took some pics but wasn't happy with them. It's like my stomach has made a little butt out of my incision..
Let me explain that better. It's like a woman who has had a c-section...she'll always have a little flap over the incison. Well my incision is vertical and my flaps are vertical so it looks like a little butt. I can see it in my pictures and it looks like a Christmas tree ..I swear that is what I keep telling everyone my shape is and I think I'm dead on. Every time I look at myself I see a Christmas tree. I'm smaller on top and then my widest part is my belly and hips. I have NO absolutely NO breasts..what little I did have are GONE..flew the coop! There are plenty of bras for that though so I'll have to invest in one. I really need to find a good cincher for my belly I think that will help my appearance A LOT!
I think this pair of 16's is a total fluke but I'm loving just looking at the tag. I think I might cut it off and save it! My FIRST pair of 16's since...hmm...5th or 6th grade I'd have to ask my mom..in high school I wore 26's..so I'll ask her.
