questions about goal

This board is full of people in just about every possible stage in this journey so Im hoping I can find someone who is at goal and maintaining. Im within 5lbs of goal now and Im starting to wonder what comes next? I have spent the past year focused on losing weight and now Im faced with the next step in the journey. Maintaining! I thought I still wanted to lose about 15lbs, but my PCP says its time to stop. He is having me do the bodypod thing to get an accurate measure of my body fat. He doesnt feel the BMI charts are good enough at this point- they dont take in consideration bone structure, muscle, etc. So next week I will do the bodypod to get a more accurate measure of fat. He feels I should stop losing now and focus on maintaining. I have a few questions that Im looking for answers to. Even if your not at goal if you have any suggestions/advice- please chime in! What if the scale keeps moving down? How do you stop the losing? How do I stop the mental push to keep losing weight? (my mind wants to lose more but I know I should stop soon) How long will it take for my "mind" to catch up with my body? I still see myself as quite large but actually Im not large at all anymore. When should I start looking at plastic surgery to remove all this skin.( I realize that I may lose a bit more but the skin is becoming a huge issue causing a never ending rash that covers my tummy and legs) Thanks to anyone who can give me some advice/suggestions. I never thought Id reach this stage in my journey and now that its here Im not sure what to do! Amber
