Gym is open (Sat.)
Hey Diana,
I sent you an e-mail, but I'll post today, too. I ran my 10K race today, which is 6.2 miles. I didn't care what place I came in this time; I just wanted to finish. I was a little unsure about whether or not I could do it since the last one was an 8K, but I did it. I just about wanted to start walking around mile 4 or so; it seemed like it was soooo long, but I knew how disappointed I would be if I had walked. My biggest goal was to finish by running all the way, so I pushed myself through it. I moved up one place from last time - I beat two people this time instead of just one - lol, and my time... 71 minutes and 11 seconds. On average, that is faster per mile than I ran the last race. The next race is September 9th; there's a 5K and a 10K... think I'll just do the 5K this time, although there's a small part of me that feels like I'm "copping out" by not running the 10K now that I know I can. What do you think?? I'd really like other people's opinions on that.
Take Care,
Tanja
