I can hardly believe it has been 8 months since surgery. The changes are numerous. I can barely start a list. I will start with the numbers. I have lost 152 pounds. I went from a 70.6 BMI to a 43.7 BMI. What a difference. I just keep thinking how amazing that is. Pretty soon, I will be at a bmi that would make me not qualify for WLS. I have had my first fight with old demons this month. There has been so much stress with things lately. Rhonda's niece was beat up this month by her baby's father. She needed surgery. Then this last week I found out a friend has cancer and it does not look very good. She has decided if it is spread, she will not try to fight. She had breast cancer twice already. I wanted to eat and I had to fight not to do so. My last news is that my good friend of many years is having WLS on September 1. She comes to this board and I know she is reading this. (Hi Lori). I will be going to Pittsburgh to be there for her before and after surgery. It will be nice to see her. I am excited.

Congratulations on your terrific weight loss! We're always going to have to fight those food demons I'm afraid, life will never be perfect for any of us. I'm sorry to hear about the sad things going on in your life, and will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Congratulations to Lori too! Janet
