18 month follow up
i'll make this one brief. i've lost a grand total of 2.5 lbs in the last six months.
so i guess that makes one heckuva plateau, since i've got more weight to lose.
it's ok, though. i figure with all i've been through i'm just glad i didn't gain any.
everyone have a great weekend. we're going to the renfest saturday and getting a family picture done on sunday.

Hi Dorothe,
Yes, you are right!!!! at least you didn't gain any weight. Remember pre-op? I gained weight so much that 2.5 lbs was just a drop in the bucket to gain..the fact is..with your tool, you aren't gaining. My weight fluctuates so much durring certain times of the month that it feels like something isn't right..cause I know I am being pretty good. It sure is fristrating though. What is a renfest??? Oh, and to get everybody in one place to get a family picture done is quite an accomplishment in itself!!!

Hey Dorthe,
Dont you let that weight bother you any more. How amazing that any of us on this board could have stayed at a stand still for six months ok? That was the reason we came here to start with. I amagine all of us could "walk" by a bakery and gain 2.5 pounds lol. So dont sell yourself short! You have done amazing and look how great you look! And come on, you have had alot of things going on with you since surgery and so the stress alone would have been enough to gain... (well, we all use that excuse from time to time lol)....As I said before. No goals here.... Ill take that ticket and ride as far as I can before it stops. But you have done everything that you are suppossed to . So just give it time and enjoy life in the meanwhile..... You deserve it!!!!
Hugs Marge
Dorthe,
Well, I'm 15 months out and have been on a plateau since May 29 and this week I'm actually up a couple of lbs. I was just in Boston for a week and ate everything that was around me. I'm back on track with eating and exercising...but, I have to hope I can get rid of this and actually lose more weight. I really need to lose another 39 lbs to be at 199...
This isn't easy for all of us....
Big Hugs,
Lori
