Gym is Open (Wednesday)

I had a rough time getting up this morning. I got to the gym 1/2 hour late, so I only had time for 45 minutes cardio on the treadmill. If I have the energy, I plan on going to a new pilates class my gym is now offering tonight...my only concern is that is not until 8 pm and I'm usually pretty dead by then. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi Lori, it's my "light/no weight training day". Planning a 30 minute light cardio class (Esquire's "Light and Easy workout") followed by ab work (Crunch's "Fat Burning Ab Attack"). Enjoy your Pilates class. I used to HATE Pilates, but honestly I've come to love, love, love Pilates based ab exercises! P.S. I'm going to be off of wor****il after Labor Day. No fun trip or anything - just vacationing on the couch! I don't have good internet access at home, so I'll chat with you all in a couple of weeks! P. P.S. Say a prayer for me that I don't eat myself silly while I'm at home. Hugs, Tracy

Tracy, Good luck with controlling the eating while you are at home. If possible, keep your house stocked with foods that can't do much damage!!! At least that is what I try to do. Will miss your posts! Lori

Hi Lori, We saw Accepted last Friday. It was funny. It's the one about the college kids that don't get accepted to a college and make up their own. Tomorrow we are seeing Invincible. It's about football. It looks good. It's based on a true story. (((Hugs))) Diana

Couldn't wait for the gym post today so I'm going to post about my workout last night. I'm SOOOO glad I went. It was boring as he**..no music, no one to chat with BUT I did my workout and felt great! I did a 35 min. hill program on the tread and lifted arms, back, legs, and abs and then went back and did 25 mins on the bike. THANKS LORI for giving me a push! Jamie PLUS and ADDED bonus...I found out that I have not met my August goal but gone past it..I weighed in at 213!!!!

Jamie, So great about your new weight of 213!!! Woohoo!!! Hey, if you are ever waiting for me to open the gym, just open it....I don't mind at all. You know the routine...that would be great. My work is pretty erratic, so I can't always get to this very early in the day! Keep on moving girl!!!!! Hugs, Lori
