Hello all. Sorry I have been lurking and not much posting.... Surgery on 9-5-2006. I have my scope on Weds. and pre-op admission stuff on Thursday. Still a roller coaster of emotions. YAY FOR YOU!!!! How exciting!!! I remember the couple weeks before my surgery, I was crazy with emotion sharks just a'swimmin'... Happy, sad, mad, glad, (out of "ad" words... lol) but all in all I would not change a thing. The doc, the trip, the timing, everything was right and good. My happy thoughts are with you for a completely fabulously wonderful everything from now till the surgery and after. Take care - Jeremy

Good luck on your upcoming surgery, Jen! Those of us on the losing side have ridden the same emotional roller coaster and survived to tell the story. You've got the right idea - keep the faith and trust your decision that WLS is what's best for you. Best of luck! Kellie

Good for you. Do keep the faith if you get nervous. Pray and turn it over. I had a peace about my surgery, because I too felt like it was the right thing to do and it has been the best thing I have ever done. I goofed off for a while, but I am loosing steady again. You can be a sucess. Many hugs, Loris 344/192/135 BMI 63/35
