It's nice to see the posts from all the newbies and lurkers - now at least we know you're out there! I'm 10 months out from surgery and I check the boards almost every day. Although I've lost 154 pounds, I still have issues with food, emotional eating, grazing, etc. This forum helps me stay on track and I'm grateful for the information and support I find here. Kellie

I've been wandering in and out lately. It's not like I'm suddenly busy or anything, it's just that the time seems to get away from me before I know it. I'm two weeks post op today (yay!) and the journey has been surprisingly easy so far in terms of emotional issues. I'm waiting for some huge hormonal meltdown down the road, but so far, so good. I've been neglecting my household chores since surgery, and decided I'd better do something about it today since an acquaintaince of mine is stopping by tomorrow. I did the dishes, made the beds, and mopped the kitchen floor, but the rug just isn't going to get vacuumed today, so there! Kix
