This too shall pass. And yes you are normal. You are adjusting to new plumbing and your emotions I am sure are all over the place. But it does get better. Good luck love marie

Kelle, I had surgery on a monday and by friday i was crying to my mom that I must have been crazy to do this. (i'm 49, still crying to my mom) She was trying to tell me that she had company and I said, 'I don't care, you have to listen to me!" She did. I got through it. I had nausea for only about 4 or 5 days, but it was awful. I think when we don't feel good, the natural thing to do is eat to feel better and we can't do that anymore. At just about 3 weeks I started feeling so much better, got some energy, started exercising, felt like I could eat better. You are almost around the corner! I'm 6 weeks out... and I just got back from walking 45 minutes! And I ENJOYED it! I literally used to fear walking, that I would never make it, even 3 blocks. You are going to do great. hang in there, it will get better! Julie

I cannot thank everyone enough for their reply. It's so great to know that I have a place to come when I'm feeling down or to share accomplishments and hopefully, someday, help someone else going through what I've been through. It's so great to know I have so many friends that I've never met! Thanks again, Kelle

Read my profile Kelle and also the post i wrote on the 'WLS' regret site titled 'mental health'. My first 3-4 weeks were hell but I finally climbed out of that head space and think this surgery was the best thing I could ever have done. You will get there too. Jennifer
